Note that in the Game Critics Awards E3 2018 short list only those projects were taken into which you could play at least five minutes at the exhibition. Therefore, from the main list of applicants were excluded Control, Cyberpunk 2077, Death Stranding, Devil May Cry 5, Dying Light 2, Fallout 76, Ghost of Tsushima, Just Cause 4, The Last of Us Part II and some other games. The exception was made only for three prizes for special achievements.
As the organizers note, the winner of the exhibition E3 2018 can be called Sony: Corporation Games won six awards, and 17 laureates come to the PlayStation 4.
